Staff Up is hiring a Horticulture Technician in Tampa, FL!
Pay Rate: $18.00
1st shift- 8am -5pm Monday - Friday
DESCRIPTION
Horticultural Installation Technician is responsible for the preparation and delivery of all horticultural products and seasonal décor to clients. Installation Technicians makes deliveries throughout our service region (there is a structure schedule to follow).
ESSENTIAL DETAILS
· Receive, unload and unpack plants and other freight.
· Select, clean and prepare plants for installation routes.
· Make deliveries of new installation work orders and or replacement work orders.
· Maintain installation and color kits. · Load and unload delivery vehicles. · Vehicle washing and maintenance.
· General property/facility maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS
· MUST be able to lift 10- 75 lbs. (Water buckets, plants, containers, etc.)
· Climb Ladders.· Use Scissors, pruners, hand saw, hoses and other small tools.
· Apply leaf cleaners and insecticides using hand-held pump sprayers.
· MUST USE PERSONAL VEHICLE
· Have a valid Driver License· Pass background check requirements and motor vehicle report
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Gardening Tools: 1 year (Required)
- Landscaping: 1 year (Preferred)
- Handling insecticides, fertilizers, leaf cleaners: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
