POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting residents with their daily living activities and other care needs, as directed by the Administrator. We seek a self-motivated, compassionate, and energetic individual to link our residents and administrators across a multi-location operation. The ideal candidate should be flexible and able to adapt to a work environment that requires frequent shifts in direction. Caregivers should have excellent communication skills and clearly express all concerns and issues of residents and caregivers to the Administrator.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Documentation of resident's activities, ADLs, and changes.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Support individuals with dementia
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality
QUALIFICATIONS
- Criminal background clearance
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
- Previous experience in home care, direct support, or caregiving preferred
- Ability to work with seniors
- Knowledge of lifting techniques and physical assistance methods
- Experience with dementia and Hoyer lifts is a plus.
