Job Description
Staff4Me is seeking a highly experienced Lead Transmission Line Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and practical experience in designing and analyzing high voltage transmission lines. You will be responsible for overseeing projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, design, and execution of high voltage transmission line projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed design packages, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform load-flow analysis, fault analysis, and stability studies to ensure reliable transmission system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, construction teams, and regulatory bodies.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance on industry best practices and technical skills.
- Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Manage schedules and budgets to meet project timelines and financial targets.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in transmission line technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in transmission line engineering.
- Proficient in transmission line design software, such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, particularly in high voltage systems and power transmission.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with project management and leadership roles.
