Job Description/Qualifications:
What You Will Be Doing
- Leads and supervises other employees; inside and outside sales
- Possess a thorough understanding of own section’s business
- Maintains good relationships with the customer as well as the suppliers
- Creates the annual budget of own section, reviews monthly financial reports and updates with comments of variances for management review (both P/L and BS)
- Look for and investigate market conditions, new business opportunities (new customers, products, and technologies, etc) and create a business model
What We Need From You
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:
- Bachelors Degree
- 7 years sales experience and managing/leading a sales team.
- Proven experience in both new business development (hunting) and account management (farming).
- Experience with metals, preferably non-ferrous
- Automotive background
All-Star Skillset
The ideal candidate will also have any or all of the following preferred experience and skills:
- Ability to speak Spanish or Japanese
- Experience with financials (regarding budgets, reviewing financial reports, and P&L)
- Technical sales knowledge within the automotive field
