We are seeking a skilled Resume Writer & Recruiter to join our team on an as-needed, contract basis. This role is ideal for an experienced HR or recruiting professional who enjoys helping job seekers craft compelling resumes while also assisting in sourcing top talent for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Resume Writing:
- Create and optimize professional, ATS-friendly resumes tailored to various industries.
- Craft compelling LinkedIn profiles and cover letters as needed.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their career goals, skills, and experience.
- Ensure all documents are clear, concise, and aligned with industry best practices.
Recruiting Support:
- Source and screen candidates for client job openings across various industries.
- Utilize sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and networking strategies.
- Conduct initial candidate interviews and assessments.
- Coordinate with hiring managers and clients to present top talent.
- Maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in resume writing, career coaching, recruiting, or HR.
- Strong understanding of ATS optimization and resume formatting.
- Experience with technical, cleared, or executive-level recruiting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn, job boards, and sourcing tools.
- Experience with ATS and CRM systems is preferred.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely.
Compensation & Schedule
- 1099 contract role (work is assigned on an as-needed basis).
- Compensation is per project or per hour, depending on workload.
