Production Supervisor Responsibilities
- Organize workflow and assign schedules (personnel, equipment, materials, and supplies) in compliance with the production schedule
- Achieve established volume, quality, waste, time-in-process and delivery standards
- Capture production reports per machine and review delivery of finished product according to quantities, sequences, and specifications
- Evaluate, record, recommend, and initiate actions, such as promotions and/or disciplinary action for the staff
- Ensure compliance with the safety and hygiene regulations, the correct and safe operation of machinery, and ensure tidiness, cleanliness, and functionality of their work areas
- Report unsafe conditions in a timely manner
- Participate as a leader in improvement projects
- Be an agent of change, and take initiative to make positive changes in efficiency
Desired Skills
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role.
- Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts
- Organizational and communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
