Do you have experience Lead or Supervisory experience? If so, continue reading! We have immediate openings for Production Supervisors, for our client-company located in East Brunswick, NJ. All shifts available! This is an entry level position.
*** Shifts & Salary ***
1st Shift 7AM – 3PM (Must have flexibility) - $18.75
2nd Shift 3PM - 11PM (Must have flexibility) - $18.75
3rd Shift 11PM - 7AM (Must have flexibility) - $19.25
*** Job Summary ***
Position is tasked with execution of line schedule / programed targets with company standards and product compliance. Responsible for providing support and training for employees to ensure targeted efficiencies in set department. Certify plant polices / procedures, safety guidelines, GMPs and food safety polices.
*** Responsibilities ***
- Delegation of daily tasks to production employees
- Ensure and exercise good manufacturing practices throughout assigned shift.
- Must be able to provide guidance with employee issues such as but not limited to - performance, attendance, safety, assigned tasks, etc.
- Maintain product specs in accordance with company process books
- Provide training to employees in assigned areas and breakdown of set responsibilities.
- Analyze and resolve any deviations that may occur on lines, assist workers in resolving issues.
- Prompt and accurate completion of BRCGS documentation, also any in-house required documentation
-Monitoring and verification of established CCPs
*** Functions ***
-Works closely with peers to ensure production handovers are efficient and effective with no hinderances.
- Understanding and assigning tasks supplied by production manager
- Enforce Company polices and implemented protocols
- Monitors activity in assigned area – Mixing, Baking, Packing – product movement through areas
- Clear communication to production manager such as but not limited to –Production reports, Product deviation, safety hazards, Equipment issues, staffing delays/head count etc.
- Enforcement of set protocols in assigned area- Example: allergen handling along with proper utensils.
- Demonstrate clear leadership in production, exercises positive influence over production employees.

*** Prerequisites ***
- Bilingual English and Spanish
-Minimum 6-month experience in supervisory apprenticeship.
- Ability to perform duties with tasked direction and handle ongoing assignments under the manager’s direction.
- Clear grammar, voice, and dictation to communicate with assigned team members – Purpose of obtaining, clarifying and giving information that impacts active operations.
- Above standard organizational skills - necessary to certify sequence of operations, effective reports, clear delivery of information.
-Ability to perform physical demands – walking & standing- Lift 10 lbs. / -50lbs.

- Monitors quality problems, owns and acts on resolving.
- Understanding and ensuring of company food safety policies
- Understanding and ensuring set safety parameters established in facility
*** Work Environment ***
- Products manufactured contain allergens such as wheat, sesame, peanuts, tree-nuts, egg, milk, and others
- Noise levels and temperatures, variable per area such as – “mixing, baking, packing “– mixers, depositors, ovens, coolers, freezers, racks, scanners, forklifts.
