Salary Range: $125,000 – $155,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and driven Finance Associate with 2 to 6 years of experience in commercial finance transactions to join our growing team in Buffalo, Rochester, or Albany. This role will involve representing borrowers and lenders in complex middle-market financing deals, as well as advising clients across a range of lending and leasing matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients, including borrowers and lenders, in complex commercial finance transactions.
- Provide counsel on secured transactions under the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).
- Advise on term loans, letters of credit, and acquisition financing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate documentation for equipment leasing and financing agreements.
- Facilitate and manage cross-border lending transactions involving both secured and unsecured credit facilities.
- Collaborate with other practice areas to deliver comprehensive, strategic legal solutions.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- 2–6 years of legal experience in commercial finance or related practice.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent written, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex transactions and deadlines.
- Demonstrated collaborative approach and business-oriented mindset.
