Staffing Now , a division of SNI Companies , has an immediate Bilingual Paralegal opening working for our client in Houston, TX. The position is working for a legal services company that has multiple locations nationwide. The hours of the position are Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. A summary of the position is as follows :
Responsibilities :
- Manage prosecution of ~1,000 tax cases in three district courts, as assigned by the litigation attorney.
- Monitor service status and ensure proper service to defendants for enforceable judgments.
- Prepare necessary pleadings to obtain valid and enforceable judgments in proceedings.
- Communicate with taxpayers and defendants to prosecute cases and collect delinquent taxes and fees.
- Coordinate trial settings, draft final judgments, and maintain communication with court clerks.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position starts at $18.00 an hour. Insurance, and other benefit options that are offered include :
