Integration Technician
Location: Merritt Island, FL
Salary: $48.30/hr

Shift: Friday through Sunday, 5pm to 5am

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
- 5 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, aviation, integration, or another relevant field
- Experience in at least one of the following is required: fluids and tubing install, instrumentation and electrical harness routing, general Aerospace/Launch vehicle assembly
- Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions and test procedures
- Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds
- Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person
- Basic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field
- Proven success as a hands-on technical leader
- Work optimally with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities
- Continuous improvement attitude. Our job is never complete; we are always refining and improving
- Intense curiosity for understanding the details of our business and how to optimize it
- Experience in handling large aerospace components
- Experience in assembling large tight-tolerance structures
- Experience in new product introduction
- Experience in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs
- Military experience
- Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.
- Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles.
- Perform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.
- Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck-trailer combinations and other ground support equipment as required.
- Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, height gauges and optical measuring instruments.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD
- Ability to work off-shift, extended overtime, and weekends if/when vital.
- Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision.

- Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas
- Work at Heights on work stands and in lifts
- Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs
