This role must sit in the Phoenix Metro area and work on-site in Phoenix at most ~30% of the time, but it's project-based on-site work so could be a month of a week straight in the office and then another month or no in office etc. Also willing willing to relocate for the right candidate

Manager, IT Integrations & Middleware (Hands-On, Architect-Level Role)

Are you a hands-on integration leader with deep expertise in Dell Boomi and enterprise middleware architecture? Do you thrive in designing and implementing integration solutions while actively working on the technical aspects yourself? If so, we want you to architect and build our integration strategy as we execute a large-scale ERP transformation, including a migration to Oracle Cloud Integration (OIC).

This is a highly technical, individual contributor role to start, working with contractor resources. Over time, a team will be built around you. You must have strong, hands-on technical abilities in middleware and integration architecture, particularly in designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions using Dell Boomi as well as experience with Oracle Cloud Integration (OIC) migrations.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the Integration Architecture: Be the hands-on architect responsible for designing, building, and deploying integration solutions across our enterprise IT ecosystem.
• Dell Boomi Expertise: Serve as the go-to expert for Dell Boomi, designing and developing integrations with key enterprise applications, APIs, and data flows.
• Migration to Oracle Cloud Integration (OIC): Drive the strategy and execution for migrating integrations to Oracle Cloud Integration (OIC) as part of our cloud transformation.
• Enterprise Middleware Ownership: Establish best practices for middleware and integration frameworks, ensuring security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to align integration strategies with business needs.
• Future Team Leadership: While this role begins as an individual contributor, you will help define and shape a team over time, providing leadership and mentorship as the integration function grows.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Experience & Skills:

• 10 years of experience in IT integration, middleware, and enterprise architecture.
• Expert-level, hands-on experience with Dell Boomi (including API integrations, middleware architecture, and performance tuning).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Integration (OIC), ideally in a migration context.
• Deep understanding of integration best practices, patterns, and protocols (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, message queues, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of security principles for integrations, authentication (OAuth, SAML), and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to design, build, and deploy complex integrations in large-scale ERP implementations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills for integration failures and performance bottlenecks.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other middleware platforms (e.g., Workato, Mulesoft, Azure Service Bus, TIBCO, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures and hybrid integration models.
• Leadership experience in growing and managing integration teams.
