Position: Scanning Clerk

Location: Honolulu, Oahu, HI

Experience: At least two (2) years of production scanning experience required

Education: HS diploma or GED equivalent

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Day Shift

Pay: $20/hour

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Scanning Clerk to provide document preparation and scanning support! The position involves high volume document scanning, which involves siting behind a desk and constantly scanning documents with a production goal of a specific number of boxes the clerk will be required to complete.

Job Description:

• Document Preparation; All documents must be prepared prior to scanning, and preparation may include removing binders, files, paperclips, staple removal, orientation, removing sticky notes when they cover relevant text and images, straightening bends/creases, and repair of torn pages, etc.
• Document Scanning; Large volume document scanning will be performed using one or more PC workstation with attached scanner(s) using production scanning software
• Quality Control; All images should be reviewed to ensure images are readable, oriented properly, and that all images in each batch have been scanned using double feed detection technology
• Indexing; Data entry of established index values for images
• Confidentiality; All client and organization information are protected and kept confidential
• Maintenance; Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning workstations and scanners, as needed

Position Requirements:

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Must be able to manage workload, complete tasks, and communicate effectively without direct supervision
• Must be able to lift to 40 lbs.
• Must type 45 wpm
• May need to travel outer islands (20%)
