Hello Caregivers!
Our lovely Marblehead family is looking for an active, engaging, compassionate and reliable nanny to care for their 3 young children! Infant and toddler experience is a must have! Ideal candidates are experienced with age-appropriate developmental activities and conscious of keeping kiddos engaged, growing, and learning through play. No screens, please! The family would prefer a nanny who likes to plan local outings, is super reliable and can easily adapt to family's routine. Candidates must be open with communication and comfortable with mom and dad spending some time WFH (in a separate office space, away from main living area).
Every day will vary- the nanny will rarely have all 3 children at once. Family would like help with school pick-ups and drop offs as the four-year-old attends preschool M-F until 2:45pm and the two-year-old is in school 3 mornings per week. Baby will be home with the nanny full time and is an excellent napper! Candidates must have a reliable vehicle to use for transporting the children. Family will provide appropriate car seats for caregiver's car. This family has no pets. **Seeking a LONG-TERM commitment. Please only apply if you'd also prefer a 2 year commitment**
Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm, Fridays 9:00-5:00
Charges: Boy 4.5 years, Boy 2.5 years & Girl 8.5 months
Rate: $30 per hour depending on experience and fit
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, paid holidays, 3 sick days, 40 hours guaranteed weekly pay
Start Date: AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
Job description:
- Creating a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Tidying up after the kids and the workday
- Bathing and dressing
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children daily, including prepping school lunches
- Indoor and outdoor play/walks
- Stimulating activities and age-appropriate games
- Facilitating age-appropriate developmental activities- crafts, singing, reading, etc.
- Taking kids on local outings- park, beaches, playdates, walks, groups, etc.
- Children's laundry
- Occasional toy rotation/organization during nap times
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Values routines and schedules
- Physically able to lift and keep up with babies and toddlers
- Looking for long-term placement
- Active, energetic, LOVES BABIES-PRESCHOOLERS!
- Ability to handle school pick up and drop off
- Safe and reliable vehicle
- Organized, motivated and task-driven
- Non-smokers only, please.
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Cheery and Helpful Disposition
- Background Check (provided by agency)
- Driving Record (provided by agency)
- Takes good direction on parenting style and family's routine, then requires minimal to no oversight.
