What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installation Technician position at Staffing Support Specialists?
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated individual with an electrical and construction background join our team of Installers! This company is a premier provider of signage to large and small businesses throughout Southeast Wisconsin. Installers are responsible for installing signs on behalf of the company, ensuring high quality standards that meet our customers' expectations. Our team of professional installers oversee proper surveying, placement, installation, wiring, and service in the field.
Specific Responsibilities of the Sign Installer Position
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Installation of custom signage both exterior and / or interior directed by design proof.
- Complete necessary safety training
- Installing signage using various processes such as : welding, bolting, screwing, etc.
- Assist in loading signage for travel to customer site safely
- Perform service repair work as needed
- Complete site surveys to ensure success of future projects
- Obtain completion photos and signs-offs
- Interact with customers and team members in professional manner
- Use tablet to review work orders and provide job progress communication
- Report job progress to General Superintendent, Project Manager and their department
- Stock and clean installation trucks daily

Monday to Friday 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm
Overtime as necessary
