Job Title: Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician
Location: Chatham, NY 12037
Compensation: $28.95 - $36.99 per hour, based on experience ( $1.00 per hour for 3rd shift differential)
Shift Schedule: Swing Shift (alternates weekly between 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm) & 3rd Shift (11pm-7am)
Relocation Bonus: Up to $5,000
Retention Bonus: $5,000

Position Overview:
The Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient production of high-quality molded products. This individual will be responsible for installing molds, troubleshooting processes and machinery, and collaborating with engineering teams to develop new processes and improve existing ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focusing on safety for yourself and others, working toward an injury-free environment.
- Adhering to Division safety rules and leading by example in following safe work procedures.
- Participating in safety audits of new and existing secondary equipment.
- Assisting with new mold inspection, installation, and setup.
- Using troubleshooting skills and technical expertise to resolve tooling, process, and machine issues or implement new processes.
- Collaborating with Engineering on new process development and plant productivity initiatives.
- Working with Shift Process Technicians to enhance the efficiency of current processes.
- Understanding and interpreting data related to molding processes, in line with the company's Quality system.
- Accurately documenting and communicating data and processes.
- Overtime may be required as needed.
We'd Love to Hear From You If:
- You have at least five years of hands-on, practical experience in plastic injection molding.
- A minimum of a two-year technical degree is preferred.
- You are able to pass Work Keys Mathematics and Technical Aptitude testing.
- You have working knowledge of the IQMS system and basic PC literacy.
