Staff Management Group is seeking an HR Coordinator for our client in Dayton, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 8:30AM - 5PM
- Monday - Friday
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $18 - $20 / hour
Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator will be responsible for performing data entry, administrative duties, filing and assisting our Human Resources department. In addition, candidate will assist with our daily employee attendance and file keeping efforts, effectively managing routine reports of time and attendance, submit employee changes to payroll department and assisting with new hire orientations.
Job Responsibilities:
- New Hire setup: scheduling, administration and facilitating new hire orientations, on-boarding paperwork, benefit inquiries, and employee filing assistance among other administrative duties.
- Collect and validate I9 documentation. Monitor expiration dates and follow up accordingly.
- Maintain and update associate files, digital and paper such as salary, titles, departments and more.
- Deliver high customer service by offering solutions and effectively problem-solving questions or concerns raised.
- Work in team environment and build relationships with cross functional associates in Payroll, Benefits, and Talent Acquisition.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
- Strong communications and phone skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Work and exceptional Excel skills
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Must possess reliable transportation
- Ability to work Overtime as needed
- Highly organized with exemplary attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential and sensitive matters appropriately
- Strong interest in Human Resources career path
- Working knowledge of an ADP Workforce
