Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 8AM - 5PM (Monday - Friday) or...
- 2nd Shift: 3:30PM - 12AM (Monday - Friday) or...
- 3rd Shift: 10PM - 6AM (Sunday - Monday, with 2nd shift on one day)
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $18 - $19 / hour
Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating various powered industrial equipment (P.I.E.) such as cherry pickers, sit-down/stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and turret trucks. This position supports warehouse operations through order picking, packing, inventory management, and shipping preparation while ensuring a safe and efficient workflow across multiple shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive and process pick tickets to locate merchandise based on catalog number, size, color, and quantity.
- Operate and maintain various types of powered industrial equipment (P.I.E.) including cherry picker, reach truck, and turret.
- Pack, weigh, and label orders accurately for shipment.
- Conduct pre-inspections of equipment and drive at controlled speeds to ensure safe handling.
- Assist in put-away of incoming inventory, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
- Collaborate with team members to stage, off-load, and organize products on pallets.
- Transport completed orders to the designated shipping area.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety protocols.
- Build positive and professional relationships in a diverse and collaborative environment
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Prior experience operating P.I.E. equipment is a plus (training provided).
- Must have the ability to work independently and adapt to varied tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work respectfully and effectively in a culturally diverse team environment.
