Staff Management Group is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for our client in South Plainfield, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 3rd Shift: 10:45PM - 6:45AM
- Plus Overtime
If hired, candidates will undergo training as follows:
- 1st Shift: 2 to 3 weeks of training (9AM - 5:30PM)
- 2nd Shift: 2 weeks of training (2:45PM - 10:45PM)
- 3rd Shift: After completing training, candidates will work independently on the 3rd
- shift (10:45PM - 6:45AM)
Pay Rate:
- $19 / hour
Job Summary:
The Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring products are packaged correctly and meeting quality standards before they are shipped to customers. The primary objective of quality control is to identify and rectify defects or deviations from established quality criteria to maintain high product quality following quality standards procedure.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect packaged products to ensure they meet company quality standards before shipment.
- Identify and document defects or deviations from established quality criteria.
- Perform quality checks at various stages of the packaging process.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and industry regulations.
- Use computers and data entry systems to record inspection results accurately.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding quality concerns.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
Job Requirements:
- Must be bilingual in English AND Spanish
- Computer literate
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to work independently and/or in a group
- Previous QC experience required
