Staff Management Group is seeking a Turret Operator for our client in Perth Amboy, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 9AM - 5:30PM
- Monday - Sunday, with Saturdays off
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $18 / hour
Job Summary:
The Turret Operator is responsible for operating a Turret Truck, loading, unloading, locating, and putting away merchandise.
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Turret Truck to pick, locate, and store merchandise in the warehouse.
- Load and unload pallets while ensuring proper placement and stacking of products.
- Follow warehouse procedures to maintain efficiency and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety and compliance regulations.
- Work as part of a team to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
- Perform routine equipment checks to ensure the Turret Truck is in good working condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to support warehouse operations.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Must have prior experience operating a Turret Truck
- A safety and compliance mindset
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently
- Stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day
- Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout the day
- Must not be fearful of heights
