Salary : $90,000 per year
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the integrity of all plant equipment, supporting production efficiency and the creation of safe, quality products.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee maintenance and facility projects, ensuring priorities are met on time and within budget.
- Provide leadership to the maintenance team, effectively scheduling and assigning personnel to accomplish tasks.
- Manage activities of outside contractors, including preparing requests for proposals, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and monitoring project budgets to avoid cost overruns.
- Lead major projects such as equipment installations, facility expansions, or modifications, ensuring proper facility design.
- Oversee fire protection and security systems, safeguarding buildings, equipment, and personnel.
- Manage inventory of critical parts and spare components, providing updates on capital investments.
- Develop and enhance the skills of plant mechanics, promoting company Core Values.
- Ensure compliance with auditing standards and the company's Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
- Conduct OSHA safety training specific to the maintenance department.
