Production Control Planner

We're looking for an experienced Production Control Specialist to join our team and play a key role in maintaining our high operational standards.

Pay: $22 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift (7 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Thursday - Yes, a 4-day work week!)

What You'll Do: As a Production Control Planner, you will help manage production schedules, wave planning, and ensure the timely shipment of customer orders. You will work closely with the Operations and Logistics teams to improve processes, optimize productivity, and report on performance. This role will also involve data analysis and Excel-based reporting to track and improve our daily output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wave Planning & Release Management: Plan and manage wave releases, optimizing production schedules and ensuring efficient order fulfillment.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Use advanced Excel skills to analyze performance data, create reports, and assist in making data-driven decisions.
• Daily Stand-ups: Actively participate in daily standup meetings, providing updates on production output and helping set the pace for the day.
• Logistics Coordination: Assist in the creation and maintenance of load plans, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
• Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve production control and planning processes using Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other tools.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Proven experience in production control and wave planning within a fast-paced environment
• Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Strong understanding of Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory tracking
• Exceptional organizational, time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to stand for 10 hours and lift up to 25 pounds
