- High School Diploma or GED, Associates or Bachelors Degree in logistics related field preferred
- Advanced computer skills: Microsoft Office and other applicable applications
- Excellent Communication skills- Verbal, written and presentation
- Fluent use of ratios, percentages, determining Min/Max Inventory levels based on given parameters, solving for unknown factors
- Knowledge of Production Control, Material Management and ERP/MRP systems
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills

Job Description:
General
This position supports 100% on-time customer shipments. Work with ERP systems, Kanban, and other materials management tools to ensure that production is planned, parts are ordered, incoming shipments are processed according to current procedure, and inventory is managed effectively. Work with logistics partners and other Unipres departments to ensure correct production levels, and efficient flow of parts into and out of the system.
1. Direct Coordination of purchased parts to include: P.O. Req, creation, distribution, order releasing process, Supplier Rating process
2. Monitoring of vendor supplied component parts
3. Monitor daily supplier performance to insure compliance (plan vs actual). Initiates supplier NCMR, where applicable
4. Administer monthly supplier score cards to procedure
5. Freight monitoring relating to purchased Parts
6. MRP/ERP/VSM monitoring and maintenance
7. Department P.O. Requisition entry (Create PO, seek approvals, balance Dept. checkbook)
8. Maintain inner department KPI "No PO" incidents
9. Track purchase part emergency handling incidents and seek resolution
10. Assist in program Balance Out activities
11. Verification of incoming purchased parts shipments
12. Scheduling of Assembly lines utilizing the firm label process
13. Maintain Onsite Inventory levels to plan through scheduling of UP Assembly Lines
14. Plan daily required number of trucks to supplier Onsite Assembly plan
15. Monitor and maintain Firm Order Label Systems (accuracy and efficiency)
16. Maintain Production Control department policy’s (FIFO, Kanban, 5S)
17. Monitor customer orders for increase or decrease in order volumes
19. Maintain correct On Site inventory levels to plan through scheduling of Unipres press and assembly lines.
SAFETY:
1. Observe and follow all UNIPRES rules and regulations.
2. Maintain satisfactory work area through implementation of 5S.
3. Inform supervisor/manager of all unsafe conditions
QUALITY:
1. Ensure accurate orders and schedules are transmitted in a timely manner as necessary
2. Work with Accounting, Cycle Counters, Manufacturing, and Management to ensure accuracy of inventory records in the ERP/ Accounting system
3. Follow up on production schedules issued to Manufacturing to ensure compliance with work schedule.
4. Maintain Production Control department policy’s (FIFO, Kanban, 5S, KPI)
COST:
1. Minimize incoming freight costs by maximizing trailer space while supporting inventory requirements
2. Minimize onsite freight cost through effective planning
3. Coordinate inventory levels to be maintained to department requirements
4. Provide ideas for Kaizen related to vendors, material handling, and packaging
GENERAL:
1. Cross train to be proficient in all analyst roles in Production Control Department.
2. Rotate among different analyst roles as assigned by supervisor/manager.
3. Work overtime as needed on inventory weekends, including Saturday and Sunday as assigned
4. Maintain a working knowledge of material flow throughout the entire process to include: *Ordering, logistics, receiving, stock locations, point of use, manufacturing rates, lead- times, reorder points, safety stock, min/max levels
5. Be a good example in attendance, quality, attitude and accountability
8. Establish work procedures to meet production schedules, quality and delivery for the business needs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,668.00 - $71,502.00 per year
