Staffmark is excited to partner with a leading manufacturer of premium powder-coated wood products to find a dedicated Production Plant Manager in Brainerd, MN. If you're an experienced leader
with a passion for driving operational excellence, fostering a collaborative team culture, and ensuring top-notch quality, we want to hear from you!

Pay Rate: $25 - $28 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team by hiring, training, and evaluating staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Implement and manage quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Drive safety initiatives and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Monitor production costs and implement strategies for cost savings while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure proper equipment maintenance and oversee preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on production metrics, quality control, and safety to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Plant Manager or in a similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience with CNC machinery is required.
  • Physical capability to meet the demands of a fast-paced production environment.
