Job Title: Staff Accountant
Work Location: Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Reports to: President

Overview:
A global semi-conductor test equipment company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of their financial records. The ideal candidate has the educational background in accounting as well as solid accounting work experiences in a manufacturing company. Due to the small size of our US operations, the Accountant will be responsible for managing all accounting processes, working in close communication with an external CPA firm.

Key Responsibilities:
*Perform accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
*Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
*Manage or support the month-end and year-end closing processes, coordinating with the external CPA firm.
*Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
*Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
*Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting procedures.
*Share the role as the primary point of contact for the external CPA firm with President, providing necessary documentation and information for audits, tax preparations, and other compliance requirements.
*Assist with audits and tax preparations as needed, working closely with the CPA firm.
*Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
*Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience in a manufacturing industry.
*Demonstrated diligence and attention to detail.
*Ability to work with a sense of urgency and process accounting data with precision.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
