Packaging Line Lead

Staffmark has a GREAT opportunity for you to join our growing team at a large Distribution Warehouse that packages Car Parts for retail Distribution! Easy Commute- Warehouse is in Gresham OR! With a GREAT Monday-Friday Schedule!
Shift: OUTSTANDING Monday-Friday Shift. 6:20am-3pm
Pay Rate: $20/HR
Job Description:
- Direct packaging operation team in assigned area(s) with quality control to ensure packaging is done to specifications.
- Work closely with floor leads to strategize order of completion.
- Follow all safety protocols provided by warehouse.
- Gather materials for team as projects become complete to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
- Monitor table efficiency via visual inspection.
- Problem solve and communicate any issues.
- Have an understanding for customer requirements and ensure team meets them.
- Train new employees to be efficient and comfortable with there new role as a packager.
Qualification:
- Previous 1 year warehouse experience.
- Ability to motivate a team and work with a team.
- Exceptional motivation skills - team player
- Read/speak English or Spanish (bi-lingual is preferred)
- Understand and have basic knowledge of the computer software.
- Wear required PPE where needed (steel toe or composite shoes)
- Lift up to 40lbs
- Sitting/standing/bending consistently throughout the day
