Human Resource Assistant

Pay Rate : $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Shift : Part-Time position with potential for full-time, flexible hours available. Evening hours may be required for special events.

Daily Responsibilities :

• Assist HR department with general admin duties, including answering and directing calls and emails, maintaining HR records in compliance with regulations, managing office supplies, and helping organize company events and meetings.
• Monitor employee attendance, input hours, ensure no missing punches, prepare leave requests, generate attendance reports, and assist with bi-weekly payroll.
• Administer pre-employment screenings, manage the hiring process using the Applicant Tracking System, communicate with candidates, schedule training and orientation, process I-9 verification, and create employee files.
• Assist with workplace safety audits, manage work-related injuries, and promote safe work activities through safety audits and meetings.
• Ensure HR processes comply with company policies and legal regulations while maintaining discretion with confidential information. Stay updated on labor laws to ensure compliance.

Requirements : 3 or more years of related experience
