POSITION DESCRIPTION
The ERP Consultant – EPM Budget will be responsible for analyzing proposed business and technical solutions in response to customer requirements, whether related to process improvements or new system functionality specific to a budgeting and planning system, and a narrative reporting system. The role ensures that solutions are complete and best support the end user and the program. The Oracle ERP Consultant for EPM Budgeting will bridge the gap between budgeting, planning, reporting, and technical concepts, benefiting both the customer and the team.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assess proposed business and technical solutions for accuracy, feasibility, and their ability to improve business processes and controls, as well as address known gaps or risks; identify risks and propose alternatives, where applicable.
- Assess proposed solutions for compliance with Department policies and selected laws/regulations, providing recommendations for improvement when necessary.
- Understand business operations, processes, and functions unique to local and state government entities, particularly counties.
- Participate in requirements gathering and design sessions, and provide recommendations to enhance and accelerate the budgeting/forecasting or reporting process.
- Configure application components, including dimensions, currency translation, intercompany eliminations, forms, reports, Smart View templates, and application rules in line with business, functional, and performance requirements.
- Support Oracle Cloud EPM module for various business groups, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
- Work on support tickets and resolve issues related to Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM.
Requirements
Skills:
- Effectively communicate and present analysis results to clients in writing and ensure effective two-way communication; translate complex technical concepts for functional representatives and vice versa.
- In-depth functional/technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), particularly Financial Planning/Budgeting and Narrative Reporting.
- Ability to write moderate to complex scripts using Oracle APIs.
- Proficiency in SQL development programs.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Accounting and Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting, auditing, data analytics, information technology, and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of technical and functional experience in Oracle EPM Cloud.
- Experience working with State and Local Governments, particularly counties, is required.
