Job Description

Provide proper installation, operation and maintenance of District computers and related peripherals.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver equipment as required.
• Perform diagnostics and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Ensure all district computers remain in good working order by performing scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Install new and upgraded software packages on personal computers.
• Correct unsafe conditions that may exist in the work area that could cause an accident. Any conditions that are not correctable by you are to be reported to the supervisor immediately.
• Know and practice the proper safety procedures in operating machinery and equipment as required for the job.
• Know and practice proper safety techniques in lifting, climbing, and performing other job duties.
• Other job duties as assigned by the supervisor or designee.

Qualifications

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Working knowledge of PC compatible computer hardware
• Working knowledge of Windows
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Able to effectively communicate in a written and verbal manner
