IT Project Manager - Windows 11 upgrade experience - hybrid - Columbus, OH - W2 only

This is a hybrid job and the chosen candidate will need to be able to commute to Worthington, OH multiple days per week. Candidate must be local to Columbus. Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who has successfully led Windows 11 upgrade initiatives and managed the deployment of Microsoft Intune to streamline PC provisioning and device management. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with IT teams, vendors, and business units to ensure smooth execution of these critical projects in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Windows 11 upgrade projects across the organization.
• Oversee the deployment and integration of Microsoft Intune for device management and provisioning across the enterprise.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, and other departments) to ensure smooth device rollout and user adoption.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for Windows 11 and Intune-related projects.
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring project milestones are met.
• Work with IT teams to ensure that Intune policies and configurations are properly implemented and aligned with business needs.
• Facilitate user training and support for Windows 11 adoption and Intune usage.
• Ensure all project documentation (e.g., project charters, status reports, and post-implementation reviews) is created and maintained.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects in an enterprise environment.
• Proven experience leading Windows 11 upgrade initiatives and managing Intune deployments.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Intune for device management, PC provisioning, and configuration management.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and working with external vendors.
• Ability to develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, and track project progress.
• Excellent problem-solving and risk management skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in a fast-paced, enterprise IT environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications are a plus.
