What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator position at Staffworks?
A CNC Operator/ CNC Machine Operator is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of manufacturing machinery. Duties include running tests before the start of operations, programming and monitoring machines when assembling products.
Machine Operator Qualifications:
High School Diploma
must have experience in programming of Computer Numerical Control machines
Must have a minimum of 3 years CNC experience
Experience using micrometers
Good math skills
Ability to read a ruler/tape measure
Ability to lift to 40 lbs.
Essential functions:
Set up & operate multiple tool operations for production of parts
Run programs
Read & interpret product drawings & specifications
Follow production plan load/unload materials onto the machine
Assure all machined parts are at the highest level of quality and accuracy
Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am.-4:00pm. Overtime Friday 6:00am-11:00am
Pay rate: 18.00 plus depending on experience
