What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper (part-time) position at Staffworks?
Housekeeping
Pay: $20.00/hr
Saturday and Sunday 10:30am to 2:30pm
Housekeeping Job Duties:
- Dusting and wiping surfaces: Dusting furniture, counters, and other surfaces to remove dust and debris
- Mopping and vacuuming floors: Cleaning hard floors with mops and vacuums to remove dirt and grim
- Disinfecting high-touch areas: Cleaning and disinfecting doorknobs, light switches, remotes, and other frequently touched surface
- Changing linens: Removing used sheets, pillowcases, and towels and replacing them with clean ones.
- Making beds: Ensuring beds are neatly made with clean sheets and pillows.
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens: Sanitizing and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, including sinks, toilets, showers, and countertops.
- Emptying trash and recycling bins: Removing trash and recycling bins and replacing liners.
- Restocking supplies: Restocking toiletries, paper towels, and other supplies needed by guests.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Following cleaning schedules and procedures: Adhering to established cleaning protocols and timelines.
- Ensuring a welcoming environment: Making sure the property is clean, tidy, and organized, leaving a positive impression on guests.
- Handling laundry: Laundering linens and towels or dropping them off at designated location.
Skills and Qualities:
- Attention to detail: Ensuring that every corner of the property is thoroughly cleaned.
- Time management: Being able to efficiently complete cleaning tasks within a set timeframe.
- Physical stamina: Being able to lift and carry cleaning supplies and linens.
