Stage Deli Fine Foods is an award winning, family owned very busy restaurant founded in 1962. We seat 200 people in an upscale, full service atmosphere and have been selected as best Delicatessen/Restaurant for 6 years running by Hour Detroit and Metro Times Magazines.
Summary
As host/hostess you will be responsible managing an outstanding guest experience. Your principal job being to elevate the guest experience by making each individual matter.
Essential duties and responsibilities
· Develop knowledge of the Stage Deli brand in order to answer guest questions about menu items, previous locations, owners/family, quality etc.
· Greet guests as soon as they walk in with a positive, welcoming attitude with a smile always.
· Be aware of seating flow and dining room sections in order to even out work flow of servers (also be aware of abilities of each server)
· Learn proper cash taking methods in order to properly take payment for carry-out or dining in guests
