Role Description

We are seeking a  full-time (30-35 hours per week) Office Manager  to oversee administrative operations, ensure efficient office management, and provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in  QuickBooks ,  Gusto (payroll platform) , and  bookkeeping . Additionally, this role will assist with preparing  estimates  for electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding  customer service , acting as the first point of contact for clients
  • Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping
  • Handle  bookkeeping duties , including invoicing, accounts payable / receivable, and payroll using  QuickBooks, QuickBooks Time,  and  Gusto
  • Assist with job scheduling and manage client interactions
  • Assist in preparing  estimates  for electrical projects
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reporting
  • Organize and maintain office operations, supplies, and equipment
  • Support the team with general office tasks and special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and bookkeeping experience
  • Experience with payroll processing using Gusto
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive, etc.)
  • Experience in administrative assistance and office management
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in the electrical contracting industry is a plus
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience preferred
