SUMMARY:
This position has responsibility for all inside/outside sales for assigned market (Theater/University market; K-12/Worship market; or Rental/International market).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with Market Managers to develop and implement sales plans to meet revenue targets.
- Customer Engagement: Proactively reach out to potential customers, demonstrating product value and addressing job-related issues to ensure satisfaction and timely payments.
- Project & Territory Management: Organize time efficiently and interpret customer needs.
- Internal Communication: Clearly convey project scope, customer preferences, and market insights to internal teams for accurate execution.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Provide regular updates on project status, market forecasts, and competitive bid results.
- Pricing & Business Development: Assess business opportunities, recommend pricing strategies, and contribute to market growth.
- Product & Quality Support: Assist with warranty claims, product issues, and customer service coordination.
- Trade Shows & Demonstrations: Represent the company at industry events and provide hands-on product demonstrations as needed (10% travel required)
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Prefer bachelor’s degree. 1-2 years’ experience in working in a sales/customer service/order entry area dealing with customers from placing order to servicing customer complaints/problems. Working knowledge of word, excel, internet, e-mail and mainframe systems.
LANGUAGE SKILL: Ability to read, analyze and interpret the English language. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficient in using computers. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must possess basic math skills and complete financial analysis. Ability to interpret and read blueprints.
REASONING ABILITY: Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Agility of the upper and lower body extremities and be capable of lifting up to 30 pounds.
