GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY
To act as the primary communication point for outside contacts. To meet or exceed all sales goals as assigned by management. To provide the highest levels of customer service.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
· Greets and provides assistance to all warehouse visitors in a quick, courteous and professional manner.
· Answers and provides direction to all incoming phone calls in a quick, courteous and professional manner.
· Communicates all sales and delivery email, text messages, pages and voicemails on a daily basis.
· Ensures switchboard and paging system are in working order and contacts provider for service issues.
· Maintains and organizes all phone extensions and ensures voicemail lists are regularly updated.
· Maintains and organizes all employee mailboxes.
· Sorts and distributes all mail on a daily basis.
· Has working knowledge of the entire portfolio of brands.
· Maintains high levels of customer service and communication. Build a solid rapport with the key decision makers in each account.
· Works to increase sales volume and distribution in all assigned accounts.
· Obtains daily product orders, via a telephone call, from a specific account list on the correct scheduled days.
· Obtains product orders that are called in (voicemail, live calls, etc.) from a specific account list.
· Develops a standard call rotation to ensure sales orders are discussed with the key decision maker.
· Ensures that all product orders are entered into Encompass for next day delivery.
· Ensures all orders are processed in retailer portals as necessary.
· Keeps all account information current.
· Communicates to the Sales Manager, sales opportunities and accounts. (i.e.) merchandising, POS, etc.
· Continuously works with the Sales Manager to monitor accounts for sales volume growth that may warrant a sales rep visit.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Completes and submits all paperwork in a correct and timely fashion.
· Ensures receipt of all sales rep invoices prior to balancing invoices and income.
· Accurately enters correct income information into computer system.
· Ensures that there are no ticket errors during check in process.
· Correctly communicates all monies/payments to the driver check-in positions for processing.
· Processes dock sales requests in a timely and courteous manner.
· Ensures all customer information is accurate.
· Processes new customer requests upon receipt into the computer system.
· Understands and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
· Adheres to all applicable Federal, State and Local regulations regarding the sale, merchandising and delivery of product.
· Adheres to all applicable Federal, State, and Local safety regulations when using equipment and vehicles.
· Operates in a safe manner and promotes safety during all working hours.
· Works with other employees to ensure that team building, professionalism and a positive environment occur within the company.
· Creates and maintains positive and open lines of communication between all working departments.
· Works to resolve all customer complaints within 24 hours and ensure there are no reoccurring problems.
· Promotes responsible consumption throughout the marketplace.
· Maintains appropriate dress and appearance.
· Attends all meetings, promotional activities and company functions when requested.
· Stays abreast of market activity and reports relevant information to management.
· Performs any other necessary duties as directed by management.
