Job Summary
As a vital member of our team, you'll be responsible for forming metal parts and assembling them into sub-units or complete units by operating a press brake.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reading and Interpretation: Analyze mechanical drawings and blueprints to determine appropriate tools and ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Press Operation: Select and verify programs needed to operate the press, setting up the machine including die and punch changes.
- Assembly: Assemble parts into sub-units or complete units, ensuring quality control throughout the process.
- Operational Support: Utilize equipment such as cranes and tow motors as required.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Flexibility: Perform additional duties as directed by the Supervisor.
Minimum Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Required usage of safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety-toed shoes.
Work Environment
- Plant environments may include noise, dust, odors, and fumes.
- Manageable working conditions, with no extreme discomfort.
- Expect excessive heat during the summertime.
