We are located in Thorntown, IN but it's an easy commute from Lebanon, Zionsville, Whitestown, Brownsburg, Avon, NW Indianapolis, Lafayette, Frankfort, Westfield and Noblesville, Indiana.
We have openings on both 2nd and 3rd Shift! 2nd & 3rd shift both receive a 5% shift premium.
2nd Shift works Monday- Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm
3rd Shift works Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-6:30am.
** Must be able to work overtime as needed**
Previous manufacturing experience is great, but will train the right person!
Job Title: Manufacturing Machine Operator/Assembly Worker
SUMMARY
The major function(s) of a Manufacturing Operator associate is to continually produce a quality product maximizing all equipment run time by effectively utilizing all appropriate resources including equipment, tooling, systems, and procedures. Additionally, the Manufacturing Operator associate is required to continually practice safety in all work performed, insure efficiency and accuracy in performing all required tasks, assist Set-Up associates during equipment set-ups when requested, and act as a continual support, trainer, and resource to any new Manufacturing Operators.
Through training the applicant will gain the following qualities:
Experience operating various manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, presses and other production machinery.
Ability to learn multiple positions and be flexible in moving to different machines, as needed.
Ability to work safely and responsibly.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Ability to read blue prints and follow directions.
Ability to read and understand measurement tool (Micrometers, Calipers, etc.)
General mechanical aptitude and understanding.
Requirements of Employment:
HS Diploma/ GED required
Ability to pass criminal background testing
Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing.
