We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join STAline's operations and sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the waterworks/underground utilities industry and be proficient with PlanSwift software.
REQUIREMENTS
- Skilled user of Microsoft Office applications.
- Minimum of 1 year industry experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- NetSuite experience preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Create detailed material cost estimates for assigned projects.
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that are competitive, accurate, and aligned with project requirements and specifications.
- Solicit and evaluate bids from suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong relationships with industry partners.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities through value engineering.
- Monitor and track project costs and assist with change order pricing and cost control.
- Maintain organized and well-documented records of project work.
- Work closely with the branch management and sales staff to ensure customer’s needs are understood.
