The Food Allergy Account Manager (“FAAM”) plays a critical role in driving strategic brand growth among target specialists and prescribers, through live face-to-face and virtual interactions. Success in this role requires a dynamic and entrepreneurial approach to navigate the rapidly evolving food allergy and specialty pharma market. The FAAM is responsible for developing and nurturing business relationships with key decision makers andstakeholders , with a strong emphasis on engaging prescribers in hospital and institutional settings. The ideal candidate will bring experience targeting hospitals, navigating hospital credentialing processes, and maintaining up-to-date vaccination status as required for hospital access. This role will also be responsible for driving growth in large Health Care Networks that may be large group practices, hospitals or institutions.
Territory Management :
Strategically manage assigned territories to grow and maintain PALFORZIA® business.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for PALFORZIA® within hospital and institutional settings and large Health Care Networksapplying an entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and solution based approaches tailored to market demands.
Customer Relations :
Serve as the primary field point of contact between customers and the Company, ensuring exceptional communication and relationship building.
Cultivate relationships with healthcare professionals in hospital and allergy based environments to drive adoption of PALFORZIA®.
Collaborate closely with patient hub and internal field reimbursement managers (FRMs) to guarantee maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and pull through.
Sales and Quota Management :
Manage the targets and grow prospect base within respective territory to achieve and exceed annual sales quotas.
Forecast and communicate sales projections to provide accurate and timely updates to management.
Promotion and Representation :
Act as a brand ambassador by fostering strong, positive relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders.
Represent the Company in ways that enhance its reputation within the pharmaceutical industry, including hospital networks.
Integrity and Compliance :
Uphold the highest standards of compliance with relevant regulations and industry guidelines.
Requirements
Professional Experience / Qualifications
Minimum 3 – 5 years of proven pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience required; specialty pharma experience is strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success calling on hospitals and engaging prescribers in hospital and institutional environments. Proven ability to identify and engage key stakeholders preferred.
Familiarity with hospital credentialing processes is required.
Candidate must have up-to-date vaccinations and meet all access requirements for hospital environments.
Expertise in the respiratory / allergy market space is highly desired.
A background demonstrating entrepreneurial capabilities and initiative is strongly preferred.
The ability to think creatively, adapt to market challenges, and develop innovative solutions is essential for success in this role.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
Strong background in working with reimbursement and medical team
The ability to collaborate and partner with internal team members to drive business initiatives
