Stamford Ford is a leading automotive dealership committed to providing outstanding customer service. We are seeking a motivated & customer-focused individual to join our Service BDC team! In this role, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls, performing outbound calls, & scheduling service appointments for our valued customers.
The Customer Service Specialist supports the Service department in achieving its goals by coordinating service appointments for customers & proactively reaching out to enhance their overall experience. If you are passionate about customer service, & have experience in BDC, a call center, telemarketing, and/or call routing - your experience will translate well!

Monday - Friday
7:00AM - 4:00PM or 8:30AM - 5:30PM (1hr. meal break)

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming service department calls professionally and efficiently.
- Perform outbound calls to customers to schedule, confirm, and reschedule service appointments.
- Assist customers by providing information on vehicle maintenance and service needs.
- Accurately input customer information and service requests into the dealership’s CRM system.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with service visits and promote future service appointments.
- Coordinate with service advisors and other departments to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Meet or exceed department performance targets related to appointment scheduling and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a friendly & professional demeanor with all customer interactions; providing courteous, prompt, & transparent communications at all times.
- Utilizes company communication software to manage all incoming calls / texts & emails.
- Maintains general knowledge of Ford products, features, and available services and benefits.
Qualifications
- Highschool diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Previous experience in a call center, customer service, or automotive environment is preferred.
- Excellent written & verbal communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with computers and CRM software (experience with dealership management systems is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
