DELVE DEEPER INTO THIS HUMAN RESOURCES ROLE
As our Bilingual HR Generalist, you're the backbone of our human resources department, ensuring smooth operations and employee satisfaction. Your day begins with welcoming new hires, conducting orientations, and setting them up for success. You handle onboarding paperwork, process new employees into our HRIS system, and maintain accurate personnel records. Employees rely on you for guidance on vacation policies, benefits, job opportunities, and workplace concerns. You're the key point of contact for payroll processing for 250 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Managing employee attendance, tracking milestones like 5, 10, and 15-year anniversaries, and handling compliance with labor laws and company policies are part of your daily routine. If an employee has an injury, you initiate workers' compensation claims and ensure workplace safety is a priority. You also collaborate with department leaders, helping to strategize recruitment efforts and improve employee engagement. With responsibilities that range from event planning to safety training, your role is dynamic, impactful, and essential to our success!
DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME OUR BILINGUAL HR GENERALIST?
We're looking for a Bilingual HR Generalist who can meet the following:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 years of relative human resources experience
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Proficiency with computers, including knowledge of HR systems, internet software, payroll systems, spreadsheets, and MS Word
- Great customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math abilities
