- Assistant Territory Field Manager -- Paint & Drywall
- To support the Territory Field Manager in driving sales and managing relationships with contractors and retailers within a designated territory for paint and drywall products offered by STANCIL. This role involves assisting with market development, training, technical support, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist the Territory Field Manager in achieving sales targets and growing market share within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including contractors, retailers, and distributors.
- Provide technical support and product training to customers on STANCIL's paint and drywall product lines.
- Assist in the implementation of marketing strategies and promotional activities within the territory.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, reporting findings to the Territory Field Manager.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and new product development opportunities.
- Assist with inventory management and ensure product availability within the territory.
- Prepare sales reports and other documentation as required by the Territory Field Manager.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and technical support, to ensure seamless customer service.
- Participate in industry events and trade shows to represent STANCIL and promote its products.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update information in the company's CRM system.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding sales practices and ethical conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Territory Field Manager.
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field, preferably within the paint and drywall industry.
- Experience managing a territory and achieving sales targets.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with customers.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
