We are seeking a Strategic Program Manager & Change Management Lead to drive enterprise-wide initiatives, technology transformations, and organizational change efforts. This role is critical in ensuring business readiness, stakeholder alignment, and the successful adoption of new applications, processes, and governance structures.
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader in organizational change management, business process transformation, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to operate strategically while also executing hands-on tasks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new systems, processes, and governance structures.
- Conduct change impact assessments to identify potential disruptions and develop mitigation plans.
- Design and implement stakeholder engagement strategies, ensuring clear communication across departments.
- Lead training and end-user adoption programs, including workshops, job aids, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Assess organizational readiness and resistance to change, implementing strategies to improve acceptance and minimize disruption.
- Oversee high-priority enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
- Lead cross-functional coordination efforts, including business case development, governance planning, and process improvements.
- Provide project leadership on business process transformations, HR process optimization, and enterprise-wide operational improvements.
- Manage governance frameworks, business requirements, and implementation roadmaps to support executive decision-making.
- Facilitate cross-divisional collaboration, ensuring effective coordination between operational, administrative, and IT teams.
- Manage multiple complex projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and risk management strategies.
- Identify and mitigate risks and potential barriers to project success.
- Work closely with vendors and in-house teams to ensure smooth implementation of system enhancements and business process changes.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in project management, change management, and business process transformation.
- Strong knowledge of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
- Experience driving business application rollouts (CRM, ERP, ITSM, HR platforms, or cloud-based applications).
- Proven track record of stakeholder engagement and executive communication.
- Ability to bridge business and IT-aligning requirements, defining workflows, and ensuring technology solutions meet business needs.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, IT governance, and risk management.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, Visio, and SharePoint.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
- Experience in government or large enterprise environments is a plus.
- ITIL certification or experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) is beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Consulting experience is highly desirable.
Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $85 - $95 /per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered.
