Business Analyst 3

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst 3 to join our team. This advanced, senior-level position plays a crucial role in supporting multiple projects or special assignments, ensuring seamless communication between program/customer communities and software development teams. As a vital part of the software development lifecycle, you will be responsible for managing requirements from inception through post-implementation enhancements while driving business process improvements and software flow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document system requirements through customer interviews and analysis.
• Lead business process re-engineering efforts and identify opportunities for software process flow improvement.
• Develop user stories and use cases adhering to industry-standard best practices.
• Design mockups and wireframes aligned with UX best practices.
• Manage requirements specifications, ensuring all are fulfilled throughout the SDLC.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Qualifications

• 8 years: Experience eliciting requirements through interviews and creating system requirements documents.
• 8 years: Understanding and experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• 8 years: Expertise in business process re-engineering and improving software process flows.
• 8 years: Experience developing user stories and use cases following business analysis best practices.
• 8 years: Proficiency in designing mockups and wireframes that conform to UX standards.
• 5 years: Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• 5 years: Demonstrated strong writing and organizational skills.

Preferred

• 3 years: Experience with the requirements management software "Modern Requirements."
• 3 years: Experience with the issue-tracking software "Atlassian Jira."
• 2 years: Experience working for or closely with TEA (Texas Education Agency) or another state or local education agency.

Additional Details
The base range for this contract position is $74 - $84/per hour, depending on experience.

Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
