Purpose of Position
The Associate Buyer will perform entrylevel purchasing functions and assist with procurement processes to build skills in the full purchasing cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requisitions to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Create and process purchase orders efficiently.
- Award bids and establish effective communication with suppliers.
- Track and monitor orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve delays.
- Maintain comprehensive purchasing records and address procurement issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers internal departments and logistics teams to ensure seamless order flow.
- Support department projects and complete data entry tasks as required.
