Job Summary :
The Fulfillment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing fulfillment operations, ensuring timely and accurate order processing, and maintaining inventory integrity. This role involves hiring, training, and leading a team, as well as collaborating with management, sales, and accounting teams to achieve operational excellence. The Fulfillment Supervisor must be proficient with ERP systems, internet-savvy, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service while demonstrating strong leadership and dependability.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
Directly supervises the fulfillment inbound and outbound crews.
Participates in hiring, training, and evaluating staff performance.
Provides leadership, feedback, and clear communication to ensure a positive and safe working environment.
Integral role in warehouse improvement processes.
Duties Include :
Create a strong safety culture. Enforcing all safety rules and guidelines.
Hire, train, and evaluate staff to ensure proper operation of fulfillment departments.
Oversee the timely processing of documents and orders.
Create, review, and monitor reports on fulfillment performance to identify cost, inventory accuracy, and efficiency improvements.
Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures for inventory movement and reporting for inbound goods, moving goods, staging and loading outbound goods.
Review return processes and develop reporting to reduce return volume and improve disposition timelines.
Crosstrain on system functions related to production work orders and processes.
Build a culture focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications :
Firsthand, experience leading teams in receiving and order fulfillment operations.
Proven warehouse supervisory experience.
Responsible leader, driven to meet deadline commitments and timely follow up.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; ERP, WMS, RF scanners
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to train and develop a team.
Motivated, hands-on supervisor, able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational skills, diligence, and accuracy focus.
Education and Experience :
College degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant supervisory experience in fulfillment and inventory management.
Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving.
Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Regular use of power lift trucks and pallet jacks
Bending, kneeling, and crouching to organize or retrieve items from lower shelves.
Exposure to a warehouse environment, including varying temperatures and noise levels.
Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment and tools.
