We're looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who can get the job done with reliability, a positive attitude, and strong teamwork skills. Proficiency with the Dealertrack DMS system is essential for the ideal candidate.

Key qualifications for this position include :

Being a self-starter
Maintaining a positive attitude
Having the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
Working effectively in a team environment
Possessing exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Managing time effectively and possessing strong problem-solving skills
Being proactive, analytical, and exceptionally organized
Demonstrating a working understanding of basic accounting principles

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to :

Computing payroll data using timesheets and relevant records

Reconciling monthly commission payables accounts

Completing necessary forms for month-end and year-end payroll procedures

Balancing wages for W-2's

Maintaining G / L distributions in all earnings and deduction coding

Balancing, reconciling, and posting sales commission sheets to the G / L weekly

Updating master files with any changes

Cross-training on other positions within the department and being available to fill in as needed

Attending scheduled meetings and training sessions

Performing other duties as assigned

Key requirements for the role include :

Preferred experience in auto dealership operations

Experience processing payroll for 100 - 200 employees weekly and bi-weekly

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of payroll tax, compensation, wage structure, workers' compensation, benefits administration, analyzing information, attention to detail, and confidentiality

Full-time availability and at least 18 years old

A creative, positive, team player attitude

Ability to analyze situations and make win-win business decisions

Honesty, empathy, and exceptional communication skills

Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent

Self-motivation, goal orientation, and enthusiasm for teamwork

Excellent communication, customer service, organizational, and negotiation skills

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Professional appearance and a strong work ethic

Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug screen

Physical demands for the role include :

Sitting and / or standing interchangeably throughout the day

Sitting and / or standing for long periods at a time

Using hands, fingers, and arms continually, frequently, and throughout the day

Bending, crouching, crawling, stooping, and kneeling continually, frequently, and throughout the day

Picking up, lifting, and carrying items that may exceed 50 pounds
