About the Opportunity
Job Summary:
The Account Executive is an integral part of the Sales Department, acting as the liaison between customers and sales representatives. This role requires a combination of loyalty, dependability, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential. Attendance and punctuality are crucial, as this position serves as the primary point of contact for both customers and the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer & Sales Support:
- Serve as the point of contact for customers, maintaining strong communication and relationships.
- Assist salespeople by tracking orders, following up on shipments, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Communicate directly with customers more frequently than sales representatives to address inquiries and concerns.
- Support outside sales efforts by providing accurate documentation and processing tasks.
- Identify the root of customer issues and provide appropriate resolutions.
Order Processing & Documentation:
- Order entry, filing, and maintaining accurate customer records.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery by coordinating with warehouses.
- Manage drop shipments, working closely with warehouse teams.
- Process returns efficiently and clarify the return process for salesmen.
- Handle warranty parts orders and ensure timely resolutions.
- Maintain dummy tickets, ensuring proper record-keeping and attention to detail.
- Document sales processes, providing clear records of interactions and resolutions.
Administrative & Operational Tasks:
- Email management, including handling salesmen's inboxes and addressing customer concerns.
- Verify acknowledgments and process all necessary sales documents.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling for product issues or installations.
- Assist with inventory management, including handling Green Heck stock products in the warehouse.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills – ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable delivering bad news while maintaining professionalism.
- Proven ability to work independently without micromanagement.
- Problem-solving mindset – able to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience:
- 4-year college degree preferred but not required.
- 0-3 years of experience in a customer service, sales support, or administrative role.
Work Schedule:
- 5 days onsite during the initial training period.
- After training, 1 remote day per week is allowed.
