Bartos provides quality services and solutions across a variety of specialized area:

Professional Sales Engineers work closely with design architects, specifying engineers, and contractors from the project inception to the final phases of construction and installation.

Architectural Sales Division specializes in the specification and sale of architectural and structural acoustic equipment and assemblies.

Owner Solutions for aftermarket needs.

Contractor Solutions through various warehousing, distribution, and delivery options

  • POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will call on and work with Engineering firms across N Texas 

  • GOALS 
  • Increase percentage of bids received specifying Bartos products. (Basis of Design) through effective engagement with Building Owners and Consulting Engineers.  
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction ratings.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Customer / Market Engagement 
    1. Establish and strengthen relationships with Owners and Consulting Engineering firms to develop an outstanding working relationship of trust and technical competence. 
    2. Interface with Estimating and Commercial, Industrial and Control Sales engineers to coordinate project opportunities.  
    3. Coordinate with Manufacturer Rep partners to inform / educate engineers on products and services through joint sales calls, lunch & learns and factory trips.

The Engineering Salesperson with be characterized by the following traits: 

  • Solid Sales and Business Development Background: Skilled in prospecting, engages with customers on their level, builds trust and close deals.
  • Drive for Results: Is action-oriented and focused on producing good outcomes; can be counted on to exceed goals successfully; steadfastly pushes self and others forward to the goal.
  • Customer Focus: Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.  Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
  • QUALIFICATIONS

The Engineering Salesperson will be a strong influencer with a high sense of urgency.  More specifically, the candidate will possess the following skills and experiences:

  • Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC experience in engineering, contracting, or HVAC product sales.   
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, or Industrial engineering preferred. 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to professionally work with and manage strong and diverse personalities.
  • Effective sales & prospecting skills
  • High Emotional IQ - Relationship building skills.
