Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and build a highly effective HR team across Valentine Companies to deliver the needs of the businesses and drive cultural change while ensuring our values and behaviors are appropriately embedded across the organization.
- Partner with the CFO to maximize the business impact of the HR team and become a strategic partner contributing to the division's overall profitability.
- Work with the HR team to develop and implement strategies to attract and hire top talent, to ensure the business has the right people in the right positions.
- Work with the HR team to develop and implement strategies to enhance skills in the existing workforce and ensure programs foster career growth and identify talent for promotion opportunities, thereby minimizing our staff attrition rates.
- Work with the HR team to ensure we have a resilient organization through purpose succession planning, early careers program and apprenticeships with clearly defined career development paths.
- Work with the HR team to ensure that our compensation and benefits schemes through the organization are competitive in the talent market.
- Work with the HR team to develop and implement programs to foster an inclusive and diverse workplace, that fosters a culture of equal opportunity for all.
- In collaboration with all functions, ensure the HR needs of the Organization are being met in line with legal, regulatory and any local compliance requirements.
- Work with the HR team to develop and implement business relevant KPIs that can be tracked consistently across manufacturing sites.
- Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and to implement changes and improvements.
- Ensure that all functions under supervision operate in accordance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety of staff and visitors.
- Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities throughout the organization.
- Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities.
- Observe & follow all safety policies and procedures in compliance with the organizational rules, while seeking continuous improvement. Responsible for his/her safety as well as that of his/her colleagues.
- Actively supports all Standard Technology activities, i.e. failure analysis etc.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and requirements.
- Exercises independent judgment as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
- HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent.
- Minimum of eight years’ experience as a VC of Human Resources or a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior HR management role, in a manufacturing environment.
- Highly self-motivated to develop strategic, tactical, and operational direction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with presentation skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Must be a self-starter, able to handle multiple tasks and maintain priorities and organization with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain confidential records.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
